Animals and birds are favourite subjects of mine. Growing up in Kenya, I had many opportunities to draw animals in Nairobi Game Parks's Animal Orphanage.
While painting people, I have frequently included their pets to add more content. I also paint domestic animals such as cattle and poultry and have recently been working on an ever changing installation of domestic cats and small birds.
Whether I include them in large compositions or paint them alone, I love to seek inspiration within the animal world.
